Among the Indo-Pacific area, India is the only developing country that hasn't joined RCEP, and it keeps making people wonder if that has to do with the tense, nationalism-guided India-China relations. But from a realistic perspective, should China and India join hands instead of quarreling over their border disputes for a greater good? How will a united Indo-Pacific region, or even a step forward, a united and peaceful Asia benefit their people? Professor Zhang Weiwei and professor Vijay Prashad reviewed the common history two countries shared, and discussed their visions of a China-India cooperation.
